Rome

Rome, the eternal city, was the last stop on our trip.  You'd think that we would be tired by the time we got to Rome, but that was not the case.  The hotels on the tour were very centrally located, so the attractions of the city were almost always just a short walk away.  Once again, our tour leader and local expert led us to all of the highlights of this bustling city.  We walked to the Spanish steps, the Trevi fountain, the Pantheon (where my son and daughter-in-law got engaged), and the Four Rivers Fountain.  We had guided tours of the Vatican Museum, St. Paul's cathedral, the Colosseum and the Forum.  We visited the Bridge of Angels, and each one of the Angels were surprisingly different.  Can you find the Angel selling scarves, the Majorette Angel, the Angel holding a traffic cone and the Angel stopping traffic?
